Music

     
-Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Percussionist, Recording Artist and Composer of various musical styles. Been Playing with David T. (Bass) for 11 years.

-Experience includes solo, band, and musical theater.

-Shared stages with such artists as Jamie Notarthomas, Ani Defranco, Clang, Members of the Band Pleasure Void, Yolk, Color Blind James, others.

-From 94’ till 97’ was the Lead Singer, Songwriter, and Guitar Player in Rype (funky folk rock”).
Had demo produced at one of the largest studios in Rochester (Dajhelon) while working with various people working under Inter-scope Records, including Devate, of the band Jodeci, his brother Darryl, “Boogie Man”, Rob Reeves, “Danny Boy”, “Genuwine”, and “Timberland”,
Played most mid-sized venues in Rochester.

-Received many favorable reviews in local papers.
Featured in print ads and played on commercial radio in association with an alcoholic beverage advertising campaign.

-Fronted and composed for a band with Avi Brown who later went on to tour with the band “OPM” and who is now known as “Benny Strange” out of LA. We won local battle of the bands.

-Various solo gigs around upstate NY and in various locations including Tampa FL and on the west coast from Seattle WA .to Santa Cruz.

Writing/Visual Art    

-Wrote, directed, produced, shot, acted in, and created original soundtrack for a video movie called “Seven Bridges”, an abstract autobiography, which was played at the Little Theater in Rochester NY.

-Won Honorable Mention in a contest by the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, for a stage script I wrote called “Awake In A Cent’s Ability, a personal perspective that challenges the concept of disability.

-Self produced book of poetry called “The Elevening, the first twenty years”.

-1st place out of 500 in a the WXXI “draw me a story contest

-honorable mention in various other graphics contest

-Have publicly displayed drawings, painting and sculptures/installations.

-Experience creating animation via illustrations, claymation, and water color.

Acting/Modeling
        
-Trained with RAPA (Rochester Area Performing Arts), at Nazareth College, and with Peter Sklar in NYC (commercial).

-Productions include shows at GEVA, the JCC, various productions throughout school years and during the summers, Sesame Street with Bob Magraf at the Auditorium Theater, Blackfrairs Theatre (2007).

-Awarded 1st Place Trophy for Male Commercial Acting in the Great Lakes Model and Talent Convention.

-1st Place in the “La Femmina” Modeling Agency Talent Search Pageant.
Runway shows

-Clowning with the Carpenter Clowns and with “Nutsy” the Clown. (Performed at a variety of events including volunteering for the Special Olympics) (Skills include juggling and riding the Unicycle)
